The Grand Wedding Show Dunedin

2011 Date Announcement

Due to a combination of circumstances, The Grand Wedding Show management have decided to postpone the next Dunedin edition until 2012. 

We believe The Edgar Centre to be the only viable venue for a show of this size, style and quality.  Putting together a massive event like The Grand Wedding Show takes time and a lot of preparation.  The advertising and promotions at More FM are scheduled and planned around other events and to be effective, it can't be rushed. 

Due to a lack of suitable available dates between sporting fixtures, we were left with a very short time frame to promote and organise the show.  It would be unfair on brides if the right exhibitors were missing from the show, and vice versa for exhibitors if brides weren't aware the show was on.

The Grand Wedding Show has created the new standard for bridal expos in Otago and we're very excited to see the number of smaller shows launching around the region.

The Grand Wedding Show showcases over 70 of the South Islands top wedding professionals, for one day only.  This is where the pages of wedding magazines come to life, and is your chance to touch the gowns, taste the wedding cakes, smell the flowers, try on the make-up, watch the fashion shows,  and most importantly,  meet the wedding professionals who will be working with you on your big day, and who you will be trusting with the most important day of your life.

Fashion Shows

There will be fashion shows during the day, your chance to see just how good the gowns look in real life on the catwalk.  You never know, you may even see the dress!

The fashion shows are always popular so get to the the Grand Stage early to get the best seats in the house.
